please explain the over-protective parent syndrome typified by the loss of judgment and dignity as soon as a child is even mildly injured. Symptom of most interest: parent assumes he/she has a greater knowledge of medical sciences than the care provider and often communicates this condiscendingly, especially if parents is older than care giver and/or care give has no offspring.

p.s. children's sports are funnnn
